Overview

Excess snowfall and critical snow days can lead to operational challenges and revenue shortfalls. Arbol's excess snowfall critical days coverage provides tailored protection against revenue losses when snow days exceed a pre-selected threshold.

Available

All 50 U.S. states

Who can benefit
  • Construction companies
  • Educational institutions
  • Retail businesses
  • Transportation and logistics companies
  • Event organizers

How it works

Using ERA5 snowfall data, a threshold can be set based on the amount of snowfall in a day and a trigger for the number of days to protect against can be chosen. If the number of snow days above the threshold surpasses the trigger, the insured automatically becomes eligible for a loss payment, covering costs and maintaining profitability despite excess snowfall challenges.
